This policy belongs to the Terms of Service and the API Terms of Surfy Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15026168). It gathers the refund rules in one place.
You can cancel a paid plan anytime from your account. Cancelling stops the renewal, and the plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. No further charges follow.
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a digital purchase, applied as acknowledged at checkout since the service starts immediately. Independent of that, if something went wrong on our side, a double charge, a plan that never activated, a billing error, tell us on the contacts page and we will put the money back.
The API is prepaid, and the unspent part of the money you paid in is yours to take back at any time, self-service, from your billing page. The refund goes to the cards that made the payments, no fee, no questions. Promotional credit, including the welcome credit, is spendable on calls but is never paid out as cash. Failed API calls are never charged in the first place.
Wallet refunds need no asking, the button on the billing page does it. For anything else, subscriptions, billing errors, or a case these rules don't quite fit, write on the contacts page and a human will look at it.
Nothing here limits the rights consumer law gives you.
