Etimologia
Vem da forma mais antiga e dialetal mes, com alongamento da vogal. Foi herdado do protobalto-eslavo *mes e se relaciona a formas indo-europeias antigas para nós, enquanto as formas oblíquas foram remodeladas pelo padrão de jūs.

mes exists in old or dialect stuff too, but yeah for normal standard Latvian you want mēs

For English lets, dont hunt for mēs. Ejam pie manis can be let's go to my place, and mēs ejam pie manis is more like we are going to my place

Mēs also does not say if the listener is inside the we. If it matters, Latvians just spell the group out: mēs ar tevi, mēs ar jums, mēs ar Annu. That bit feels odd in English but its normal Latvian.

my teacher kept crossing out my extra mēs. If the verb already says first person plural, šodien strādājam no mājām is fine. Put mēs back when you mean WE, not those other people.
