The new Exercises work like a patient teacher with a stack of flashcards. Pick a language and a level, from Starting out to Deep end, and you get ten cards at a time.
Each card is one word, with its pronunciation and a sentence it lives in. Under that sit three definitions in the word's own language, each with a small translation in yours. One of them is right.
Miss a word and it returns before the sitting ends. Get it right and it comes back later, with a longer gap each time, until it sticks for good. That's spaced repetition, and it now runs everything here.
You don't need an account to start, and a round survives anything. Close the tab mid-card and it picks up where you stopped.
The free plan gives you a few rounds a day. If you want more, the paid plans raise the limit or remove it.
Deal yourself a round at Exercises.
