A major update to our legal documents

9 July 2026
Our legal documents got a major update and now live in one place. Privacy, terms, refunds, API terms and a DPA, all in plain English, all describing what Linguin actually does.

We've rewritten the whole legal set from top to bottom, and it now sits behind one link. You'll find Documents in the menu on every page.

There are five. The privacy policy explains what we collect and where it goes. The terms of service cover accounts and subscriptions. The refund policy puts the money rules on one page, like canceling any time and keeping your plan until the period ends. Developers get the API terms and a data processing agreement to go with them.

Each one is written to be read, in everyday words, and it promises nothing the product doesn't do. The privacy policy is the fastest way to see that. We don't run third-party analytics or trackers. There's no cookie banner either, because there are no cookies behind it. Your card details go to Stripe and never touch our servers.

And if anything in them is unclear, ask us at contacts.
