On Linguin, you learn a language by having real conversations. The free plan gives you a few conversations every day. For many people, that's enough.
If you want to practice more, you can subscribe. There are two plans. Essential gives you many more conversations, and each one can be longer. Proficiency has no limit at all: you can talk as often as you like, and each conversation can be longer still.
On the plans page, each plan shows a length in minutes, like three or five minutes. It's not a timer. It's how long the conversation would be if you said it out loud, not how long you're allowed to sit there. So you're never in a hurry. You can stop and think, type slowly, or look up a word, and the conversation will wait for you. You could even spend a whole hour on one talk.
Your progress is always saved to your account, so you never lose it. Sign in, and everything stays with you: how much you've practiced, and what you're working on. When you come back, it's all still there.
The more you practice, the faster you learn. These plans simply give you more room.
