Use maj by itself as a reaction. It does not take verbal prefixes or describe a noun, so a good plan is nab QaQ, not nab maj.
Common mistakes
taj maj uses maj as if it were an adjective, but Klingon uses QaQ to describe something as good.
Etymology
Listed in The Klingon Dictionary among exclamations. KLI teaching material treats maj as an exclamation only, distinct from the verb QaQ, be good.

majQa' is not just a fancy spelling of maj. The Qa' part makes it the stronger praise word, like well done or very good, so it fits after a successful action better than after a merely acceptable plan.

Dont use maj for OK, I will do it after somebody gives an order. KLI phrase lists put lu' or luq there. maj is more like you saw the result and approve, good, fine, that works.
