The badge at the top of an entry now names the word's own language, not yours. A Spanish word says Spanish, a German word says German, whoever is reading it.
It used to show your interface language. Open a French word with the app set to English and the header read English, which you already knew. The one thing it could have told you, what language this word actually is, it kept to itself.
So it reads from the word out now. Point it at burro and the header tells you at a glance whether you have the Spanish one, a donkey, or the Italian one, butter. Same five letters, two languages, and the badge settles which one you're reading.
Under the badge, the translations got tidier too, a little more room to breathe so the languages a word carries are easy to scan.
It holds in any interface. Set Linguin to Japanese and saudade still says Portuguese, because the language belongs to the word, not to you.
A word should tell you what it is. The first line finally does.
