Looking up words in Russian, Greek, Japanese, and many other languages has always worked. Now the URL matches the word itself.
For example, if you look up спасибо, you'll land on /ru/спасибо instead of /ru/spasibo.
Using Latin spellings is convenient, but it also loses information. Russian е and э both become e. Greek λόγος loses its accent. Chinese pinyin leaves out the tone marks that distinguish different words.
The spelling you learn is the word itself, so that's what you'll now see in the address bar.
If you've bookmarked older links, don't worry. They still take you to the same page, and you can continue searching with Latin spellings. Typing spasibo will still find спасибо.
